Ray Baker, a recent graduate of Pratt Institute’s BFA 2D Animation Program, is a Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist with a passion for Writing and Character Design. Their work ranges from complex, thought-provoking narratives to loose, quirky snippets of whimsy that explore topics such as mental health awareness, advocacy for 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and the dismantling of patriarchal standards of femininity. Although it’s not always immediately understood, their peculiar sense of humor is injected into everything they create.
